    It is with great sadness that our family must announce the death of Anne Elschner Miller on January 11, 2008 in Orange Park, Florida. Known as “the Gypsy” by her family, Anne arrived in the United States as the new bride of Frank Miller in 1953. After Frank’s death in 1973, Anne successfully raised five daughters who were her pride and joy. She enjoyed nature and was most happy when with her family and friends.
    Anne was a professional Insurance Underwriter and claims adjuster for several agencies in Atlanta, Georgia and Jacksonville, retiring at 65 to pursue her love of travel and spend more time with her family. Throughout her life, Anne was a loving and giving mother, sister, grandparent, and friend. She gave of herself without reservation and is sorely missed. She leaves us all a legacy of love and humor that will see us through the difficult days to come, knowing that she is watching over us from her home in heaven. She often said, “be happy when I am gone, don’t be sad for me”, and so we will do our best.
    In addition to her five daughters, Barbara Cagle of Florida, Cindy Turner of Texas, Susan Bennett of Wyoming, Tracey Jones and Jenny Pollard, also of Florida, Anne is survived by eleven grand children, Ricky and David Scott, Nikki and Sean Brooks, Brandon Jones, Russell and Ashley Turner, Kevin, Traci, and Colton Bennett, and Brooke Pollard. She also has four great grand children: Rian, Chris, Jack, and Kayle. Anne’s sisters, Barbara Shaller and Johanna Hurtado, both of California, will also feel the loss of her loving heart.
    A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at HOLLY HILL FUNERAL HOME, 3601 Old Jennings Rd., Middleburg, Fl with Mark Juen officiating.

    Dear Barbara;

    Was checking your site when I came upon the news of your mother’s passing last month. May I send my condolences to you and your sisters, I know how hard is to loose a loved one, especially your mother.
    that pain is a hard one to relieve for those left behind, but your mother is finally at rest with no pain, and that is paramount to the ones still here.
    God Bless all,
    Marion

  3. Barbara Cagle Says:

    Thank you so much Marion. I hope all is will with you and yours. Take care and God Bless you all too.
